Story Overview Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus Chapter 3

Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus, a very popular book written by author John Gray. This book contains a lot of suggestions for improving the relationship between men and women through understanding the communication style and emotional needs of the opposite sex. As the title implies, this book confirms the idea that men and women are very different from creatures from other planets, and that learning the code of conduct of the opposite sex is important even if the individual is not always in accordance with stereotypical behavior. I will discuss chapter 3 that is.

Chapter 3: Men Go to Their Caves and Women Talk
When faced with tough problems, men become non-communicative so they can work out how best to help themselves, while women become communicative so that others can work out how best to help them. Men like to demonstrate their abilities by being allowed to solve problems without interference; women like to demonstrate their feelings by being allowed to relate problems without interference. When men do communicate, they like to get to the point, and generally only want to listen if they feel the conversation has a point; women enjoy talking for its own sake, and are happy to listen unconditionally.

I think this is the most preferred chapter, why? because here is explained how to communicate when having a problem with our partner. here explained each woman and man has a different way of dealing with problems in a relationship.

To feel better, Martians went into their caves to solve their problems alone. To feel better, Venusians gather together and openly discuss their difficulties. the point here is a man when he has a problem he prefers to go and solve his own problems. whereas for a woman when she has a problem she prefers to go with her friends to solve it openly.
