HOW
TO THINK BIGGER
Chapter
3,4 & 5
Life would be easy if all
we had to do achieve our goals was to come up with a vision, think about it
very single morning and act on it.
Here are a few of my own
truths that guide my behavior in life
- .. I never give up on anything that’s important to me.
- . I don’t care what anyone things important to me.
- Time is mt most important asset. I always focus on achieving more with less
- I’m always honest. Lying is for cowards.
- I always think carefully before making any promises because i always keep my word.
- Growth happens outside comfort zone. Security leads to mediocrity.
- I refuse an ordinary approach because i want to live an extraordinary live.
- Nothing is impossible for a man who refuses to listen to reason,
- Abudance is all around me. Scarcity is the mindset of the poor.
- It's not fun, i don’t do it. If i have to, i find a way delegate it.
Human have a competitive
bature that you can use to your benefit to think bigger. However, there arevtwo
types of competitiveness. The first is positive and productive, which motivates
you to strive for more, but not at the expense of others. The second is
hypercompetitiveness, which is a “winning isn’t everything; it’s the only
thing” type of thinking.
Social modeling is a
fundamental concept of social learning theory thats show how people learn and
adapt new behaviors by observation only.
How are you supposed to
work with burning motivation on the big things if your relatives or friends
costantly poke fun at your ambitious goals? If there’s one yhing that is shared
by every successful person, it is that they all hang out with other successful
people.
Big goals can only be
achieved with sustained concetration and focus on the most important aspects.
All of the unessential things should be set aside because they take up valuable
time without contributing much to the end result.
